Pierre Le Bas, the Principal of the firm, has many years of experience in the profession and formal qualifications as an urban planner, geographer and lawyer. Pierre is a former Chair of the Scouts Australia Property Committee and a former member of the Board of Scouts Australia.
TPI works on behalf of a range of clients both in Australia and the United States and actively seek to avoid perceived or real conflicts of interest. Under the Planning Insitute of Australia Code of Professional Conduct, we are unable to work on a contingency or success basis.
Residential Development Applications
If you need approval from the Council or another approval body (such as a ‘principle certifying authority’) to a development you have in mind, eg for adding another room, building a new house on your residential land, adding a storey to your existing house, subdividing your residential (or rural) land, or even simply undertaking a minor boundary adjustment, call us and we can give you an outline of what will be required for your application and whether it is feasible or even possible in a legal/planning context.
Commercial and Industrial Development Applications
If you need approval from the Council or another approval body (such as a ‘principle certifying authority’) to a commercial type development you have in mind, eg for building a warehouse complex, applying to use an existing industrial or commercial property for a particular purpose, e.g. a medical centre, gym, café, restaurant or other retail premises, call us and we can give you an outline of what will be required for your application.
